Gregory Taylor, Founder and Inventor

Mr. Gregory Taylor started working
on this idea in 1976. Moving into the 1980's, the vision for
the company was started. By 1995 he had invented the KVAR Energy Controller (KEC) Unit and received the patent.
Currently there are ninety-three different combinations of
equipment derived from our patented sizing apparatus and
methods. Sixty-two three-phase commercial applications and
thirty one single phase applications. We are an
environmentally aware company and our products have been
tested for all compliances.
Mr. Taylor,
born in Winter Haven, Florida in 1952, is the founder and
inventor of the KVAR Energy Controller (KEC).
In August of 1995, he was awarded a patent for the method
and apparatus to determine amount of capacity required to
optimize power factor of electricity to unity.
His educational background includes; Vol-Tech in Florida and
Georgia Institute of Standards and Technology. He is an
electrical management consultant and has taught classes on
electrical energy conservation at local universities. He has
been performing research and development on electrical
conservation products for twenty four years.
Mr. Taylor is actively involved in the day to day operations
of the company. He leads research and development and
continues to develop energy conservation products and
projects that will ensure the success of KVAR's future. His
efforts will change the way electricity is sold and used in
the future throughout the world.
In his spare time, he enjoys a good day of boating, fishing,
and spending time with his grandchildren.
