By installing the KVAR unit in this location you are utilizing both sides in your panel, insuring surge protection for the entire house. All units are manufactured in the USA with USA components. The units are suitable for any type of motor use. That includes Air Conditioning motors. Heating, Ventilation, whether constant speed or variable, depending on the size of the unit. Residential applications require one unit for the entire panel.  Typical installation is under 30/45 minutes by a licensed electrician.
